Materials & Care

Sterling Silver

The Delčev pendant and accompanying chain are crafted in 0.925 sterling silver. Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time, which can be gently restored using a soft silver polishing cloth.

Care

Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, household chemicals and abrasive surfaces. Remove jewellery before swimming, exercising or using cleaning products.

Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and store separately.

Size & Fit

The Delčev medallion measures approximately 21 mm in diameter and is paired with a 45 cm sterling silver chain.

Choose between box, beaded, paperclip and curb chain styles. Each creates a different profile at the neckline while keeping the pendant and overall length consistent.

GOCE DELČEV

Goce Delčev (1872–1903) was a teacher, revolutionary organiser and leading figure in the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization during the final years of Ottoman rule in Macedonia. He played an important role in developing the organisation’s network and advocated political autonomy for Macedonia, while opposing an uprising he believed was insufficiently prepared. 

Killed in Banica in 1903, Delčev became one of the most prominent figures in Macedonian historical memory.
